Now, having returned to the UK, the celebratory banger has been remixed by UK funky pioneer Apple, someone Elf Kid has been a fan of for years: "Apple is a producer I grew up listening to. He laid the foundations of UK funky, so it's sick to have him remix one of my tracks." While almost impossible to search online, one of the few things known about Apple is his genre-defining work in UK funky — bringing a stripped-back minimalism to the sound. Here, he applies that classic tribal house sound to "Reload That" with a big, bouncy beat and golden era melodies. Expect to hear this non-stop for the next few months.
