Manifesto MNFSTO 11 2017 Torotno

For the first time in 11 years, Toronto community and culture festival Manifesto is moving away from it's week-long, September celebration and will instead expand to include events across the summer, fall and winter seasons. While a week of events (and partying, let's be real) is exciting it's also exhausting, for both attendees and organizers, so the new format will ensure everyone gets the most out of their Manifesto experience.

Manifesto just announced it's first event for 2017 and it's a big one: a one-day music festival which is going down on Saturday, June 10 at Echo Beach. The lineup includes Majid Jordan, The Internet, Isaiah Rashad and Jidenna, with support from local heroes Sean Leon, Tika, The Sorority and Derin Falana

The summer portion of the festival will also include a summit—which will encompass keynotes, panels and workshops—and a free block party, the dates of which are still TBA. The fall portion will be focused on the arts, and the winter with a dance-event mysteriously dubbed "The Rumble," which suggests some type of battle.

Tickets for the music festival go on sale on Monday through Ticketmaster, so get ready!
