BANKS' first music of 2017 is a vulnerable affair.

We've come to count on BANKS as an artist who can consistently deliver intimate songs that invite listeners into her life and explore whatever she's going through on a personal level—whether that takes the form of explosive, confident moments like her 2016 single "Gemini Feed" or quieter occasions like her new single "Crowded Places."

Her first song since 2016's The Altar, the singer-songwriter explores a more vulnerable side of her personality over delicate production from Tim Anderson as she sings about a turbulent relationship and personal fears. No word yet where this surprise single will eventually land, but lets hope it's a sign of a new project on the way soon. In the meantime, dive in to "Crowded Places" below.
