New Zealand's latest export (but Australian-born), budding singer-songwriter BAYNK, is today announcing his new single "Poolside". A melodic, bouncy little number, "Poolside" shows off the kind of simple, less-is-more songwriting that's becoming a staple of his output. Despite being the first song he's written, produced and sung, there's still plenty of BAYNK material on SoundCloud for you to dig into. "I wrote this song sitting," he explained to us via email, "literally next to my friends pool, when I was having worries about whether or not I'll ever find someone right for me. It's the first proper song I've produced, written and sung lyrics on myself so it's close to my heart."
"Poolside" drops Feb. 27 and BAYNK will be dropping visuals for the track on the same day.
