Drake Postpones Boy Meets World Tour

The upcoming shows in the UK have been pushed to March.

Last year, Drake announced a string of new live performances in Europe. Formally called the Boy Meets World tour, the legs would see him in the United Kingdom this month, with stops in London, Glasgow, and Dublin among others. The shows are of course, in support of the Grammy nominated album Views, and his upcoming playlist, More Life, which has yet to have a concrete release date. While fans clamoured for tickets and booked the date in their calendar, they will now have to wait a bit longer to see Drizzy.

The rapper's management team has released a statement today, confirming that a number of Boy Meets World dates have been postponed. The moves were made due to "unforeseen production setbacks", and Amsterdam, Glasgow, and London look to be the locations immediately affected. Glasgow shows will move from January 25 and 26 to March 22 and 23. Meanwhile, London's stop on January 28 will move to March 20. You can read the official statement by Drake's team below.

“We would like to inform you that shows on the ‘Boy Meets World Tour’ in Amsterdam, London, Glasgow are being moved to new dates. Drake wanted to create a special experience for fans in Europe and the UK so he has added some incredible new features to an already specular production. Unfortunately due to unforeseen production setbacks it will need a little more time to be ready. Drake can’t wait to see all his fans so he can deliver an amazing and memorable experience.”
