Kaytranada and Alicia Keys have really been on fire as of late. Keys is fresh from releasing her excellent album, Here, which was heralded for its eclectic sonics, maturity, and undeniable grace. Her first project in four years, it was more affirmation that the talented songstress still has plenty of new music worth sharing. Meanwhile, Montréal producer Kaytranada, used his last twelve months wisely. The maestro landed production credits on some of the year's biggest releases, including Anderson Paak, Craig David, and Chance The Rapper. While these collaborations have catapulted him to new heights, Kaytra's biggest accomplishment of 2016 was the highly acclaimed debut album, 99.9%. The project took home the prestigious Polaris Music Prize, and landed him on many critic's year-end lists - including one on this very website. While these accolades would warrant any bit of rest, it doesn't look like either artist plans to slow down any time soon.
Last night, famed New York producer, Swizz Beatz, took to his SoundCloud account to share new music from the aforementioned duo. Entitled, "Sweet F'in Love", the new cut sees Alicia Keys hover over Kaytranada's trademark jazz-tinged production, bolstered by a sprinkling of smooth piano riffs. There has yet to be any information regarding the significance of the tune - whether it was a track originally intended for Here, or if it's simply an awesome gift for fans of both artists. Whatever the reason, we're thankful Swizz is sharing more of his talented wife's music. You can listen to the track below, via SoundCloud.
