UPDATED 12/23/16 12:00 p.m. ET: About two hours after reports of his arrest at Atlanta's Lenox Mall started being picked up, Young Thug posted a now-deleted Instagram video that showed him clowning around in what appeared to be a diner. The Shade Room was able to grab the video before Thug deleted it, so you can watch it below. At the very end he says into the camera, "Bigger than the law."

According to TMZ, police were at the mall responding to a stolen vehicle report. While walking through the mall, one of the officers recognized Thugger and remembered he'd recently missed a court date for excessive window tinting. He was arrested for the warrant and released after posting a $500 bond. That's some terrible luck.

Original story from 12/22/16 below.

Reports have emerged online that Young Thug has been arrested while trying to leave a store at the Lenox Square shopping mall in Atlanta. A short video posted by The Shade Room showed police leading away a man the videographer claimed to be Thug. "Man they tryna lock Thug up man. We up here at Lenox, man," he said. Complex reached out to the mall and city police departments, but neither were immediately available to comment.

Naturally Twitter was already in a frenzy about the reports.
