Saturday night saw Skepta perform alongside 12 future music talents at the V&A in the final showcase for the UK leg of the global Levi's Music Project.
Taking place in the Museum's epic Raphael Room, on a purpose-built set against a backdrop with bespoke visuals by Kate Moross, the 12 students from the project performed tracks they'd written and created in collaboration with Skepta, to an audience including the likes of Wretch 32 and Copa90 frontman, Poet.
It was a fitting finale for a project the 12 students have been working on for the past 10 weeks. Based out of a specially designed studio at a community centre in Skepta's Tottenham ends, they have also benefitted from musical mentoring from producer Preditah and songwriter Jin Jin (whose credits include Jess Glynne, Dizzee Rascal and Foxes), amongst others.
