Premiere: Watch Zeina's Smooth New Video for "Washing Machine"

The Montreal chanteuse shares the visuals for her ominous track, "Washing Machine".

Earlier this year, Zeina dropped the deliciously infectious track, "Hit Me Up". It was a strong debut effort, augmented by jazzy xylophone riffs and bouncy production, courtesy of Roy Woods maestro, FrancisGotHeat. Along with the artist, the single sort of appeared out of nowhere, and hastily put Zeina right onto our must-watch list. Ever enigmatic, we didn't hear a whole lot from the Montreal chanteuse until a few months later, when she released "Washing Machine".

It was yet another impressive offering, and once again, assisted by more production superstars - this time "Antidote" architect, Eestbound and Vnchy collaborator, Bijan Amir. "Machine" was a slight change of pace from Zeina's previous work, gifting us with a brooding anthem full of screeches and drowned 808s. While justifying our excitement, the track also confirmed that its singer can play in multiple fields, and that her soul-tinged voice is confident, adaptable, and bordering on hypnotic.

Now, we're getting our first visuals from the singer. Premiering on Complex Canada is the official music video for "Washing Machine". Featuring vignettes in a dimly lit street, and of course inside of a laundromat, Zeina brings us through the grainy lens of her world. It's about as entrancing as the song itself, and you can see just what we mean, by clicking the play button below.
