There's something about Glasgow that worms its way into every single piece of art produced within its confines. An infinite number of words have been written about the exciting, challenging and ridiculously fun club music pumping out of the city walls. Take Connor O'Leary, aka TryTryDieDown, for example. He only spent two years in the city and yet its irreverence (and love of happy hardcore) surges through his music. "Swift Dodeca", taken from his Peninsula EP (out today on Nightwave's Heka Trax), takes that hardcore energy is plain to hear in the club-destroying cocktail of grime, bass and UKG. The rest of the EP bangs just as hard. And although it's varied release that takes you down a few different avenues, there's still that consistent element that runs throughout.
