North London legend Bossman Birdie is laying the groundwork for a massive 2017. Having just signed to Universal, the Bloodline member today drops his brand new single, "My Yard", with some guest bars from fellow Meridian graduate Jme. "To me, 'My Yard' exemplifies the legendary status that should be associated with Meridian Walk and grime," Bossman explained to us via email. "So when I die, they should put a blue circled plaque in Meridian or on my home, just so the residents know they're walking the same steps as greatness and can be inspired by that." With so many of grime's OG's finding renewed success of late, let's hope 2017 is the year of the Bossman.
