Things got political—and personal—at TIDAL's Saturday night benefit concert in Brooklyn when Nicki Minaj told men in the crowd to pursue strong, intelligent women instead of "brainless bitches." That's when she turned to examine the wives of famous political figures and took up arms against Donald Trump's wife Melania.

"You n**gas are so fucking weak, ya’ll got the audacity to be intimidated by a bad motherfucking queen and get your motherfucking feelings hurt," Minaj told Brooklyn's Barclays Center. "'Cause Barack needed Michelle, bitch. And Bill needed a motherfucking Hillary, bitch. You better pray to God you don't get stuck with a motherfucking Melania."

She added moments later that men want women to "stroke your motherfucking ego."

A video of Minaj's speech is embedded below.

Minaj defended her comments Sunday morning, explaining that she wasn't "dragging" Melania, who "seems nice."

"A smart man knows he needs a certain 'kind' of woman when running for President," Minaj wrote.
