Twitter, you can calm down and stop dragging Madonna now.

On Saturday afternoon, social media went in on the 58-year-old singer for allegedly mocking Kim Kardashian’s assault and robbery during a Halloween party. It all started with a photo in which one woman was seen dressed in a bellboy costume, another was dressed as a tied-up Kardashian, and the last—whom many assumed was Madonna—was dressed as an armed robber. Though the singer was at the Halloween event where said picture was taken, she was not the woman seen in the photograph. But, unfortunately for her Twitter mentions, many people were convinced otherwise.

According to the Daily Mail, the party was held at London's M Restaurants, where Madonna was photographed, not in a robber's costume, but regular street clothes. It's not too surprising many people assumed she was the woman in the picture. We mean, she was at the same event, and the woman does look a lot like her in that angle. But, as the photos prove, Madonna had nothing to do with the stupid and wildly insensitive costume. At least there were some people in Twitter who had her back:
