In November, Montréal will become home to some of the best and brightest acts in Canadian music. The talent will flock to the city for, M for Montréal. The arts festival will showcase artists from across the world, but also proves a terrific spotlight for rising stars. Earlier this year, it was announced that acts like Hot Chip, Martha Wainwright, and Moonface, would all be making an appearance during the event's three day residency. Now, the organizers have released the complete list of performers.
Alongside the initial lineup, Philadelphia trap juggernaut, Bauuer, will man the boards for audiences' listening pleasure. Other standouts include, Montréal stalwart, Tommy Kruise, and Broken Social Scene's Brendan Canning. The festival is chock-full of performers, including "200-plus industry heavyweights" and "120 local and international acts". One of our Montréal's Next highlights, Hearstreets, will take on Club Soda on Thursday November 17.
The whole festival will begin in just under a month. To peep the entire list of performers, visit the official website. Festival passes are available for $125, and you can purchase them here. M for Montréal begins on November 16, and runs for three days.
