Kid Cudi originally released the powerful, moody "Frequency" back in March. But it wasn't until late Wednesday that he unveiled the tune's video, which he directed.

In the clip, Cudi starts out dancing by himself in a forest:

Sometimes with some cool glasses:

Right when he starts rapping about "couple girls, couple stories, and a couple 'shrooms," he is joined by—you guessed it—a couple girls as the jungle turns psychedelic.

"Frequency" will appear on Cudi's upcoming album Passion, Pain & Demon Slayin'—the release of which was recently delayed. Just last week, Cudi announced that he was checking into rehab for depression, though he promised that "the album is still on the way."

You can check out the "Frequency" video above.
