'Pure Grime' Mixed by The Heavytrackerz

There's been a lot for grime fans to celebrate in 2016: by the end of the year, Kano, Wiley and Skepta will all have dropped new albums and Dizzee will have performed Boy In Da Corner in London, not to mention Skepta just beat David Bowie and Radiohead to win Best Album at the Mercury Awards. So timing couldn't be better for production cartel The Heavytrackerz to helm the latest volume of Pure Grime compilation series.

Across the two-disc collection, they've packed in classics from Tempa T, Lethal Bizzle, no fewer than five Wiley tunes (not counting Roll Deep's "When I'm 'Ere" or his numerous features), a couple from Kano ("Ps & Qs" and "3 Wheel Ups"), and a generous dose of their own genre-defining productions and remixes. It's also worth noting this is the only place you can officially stream Stormzy's "Standard", Tempa T's "Not A Rocker", and their own "Gangdem" (featuring Section Boyz), "Wavey" (featuring Ghetts, Double S and J2K) and "Red Wolves" (with Solo 45)—outside of YouTube of course.

To mark the album's release last week, check out this exclusive minimix the trio put together for us.
