UPDATED Sept. 7 6:45PM E.T.: A source has clarified to Complex that Lajan Slim is signed to Def Jam, but not G.O.O.D. Music.

See below for the original story.

Florida newcomer Lajan Slim could very well be the latest artist to sign to Kanye West's esteemed G.O.O.D. Music label.

"God allowed someone to help me take my talent to the next level when everyone else overlooked me 'THANK YOU I AM NOW' G.O.O.D," he captioned an Instagram post on Tuesday.

Just last month, Slim dropped his "Haitians" single through Def Jam and the track was publicly co-signed by G.O.O.D. Music president Pusha T. Def Jam also posted up an article on Lajan Slim that listed the five most important things everyone should know about the rapper. Interestingly enough, G.O.O.D. Music is tagged at the very bottom of the post even though the label wasn't mentioned once by name in the write-up.

On top of that, Pusha T called Lajan Slim the "newest signee to G.O.O.D. Music" during a recent club event.

Check out some of the mounting evidence below. We reached out to a rep for Pusha T and will update when available. You can also read why Lajan Slim is a new act you should be keeping up with right here.
