Taxstone's new episode of the The Pull Up is finally here and it spotlights none other than Dae Dae, a rapper out of Atlanta who is quickly on the come up.

The episode also touches on the current state of the ATL. "Welcome to Atlanta, Georgia," it starts. "A city that has been thriving in hip-hop for the last 20 years." The intro then lays out some basic details about the city where African Americans make up 54 percent of the population and "where the finest strippers reside" along with some of the slickest talkers, young entrepreneurs, business owners, and athletes. However, this episode focuses on the city as the land of the new rappers, and more specifically Dae Dae, the buzzing Atlanta rapper who blew up on the scene thanks to his incredibly catchy track, "What U Mean." The song might have been released back in 2015, but new traction, a deal with 300, and an opening spot on Young Thug's tour definitely has Dae Dae moving up in the new year.

Throughout the clip there are intimate interviews shown with people who know Dae Dae best/ "He's still the same old Dae Dae from the whole—from 4th ward, from Boulevard, he's still Dae Dae," his friend tells the camera.

When Dae Dae makes his way onto the screen, his passion is almost palpable as he explains he's in the studio working at every possible moment. "I put my heart and my soul into that shit."
