There seems to be something strange happening with Kanye West's Twitter account today. Some users looking for The Life of Pablo rapper on the social media site have found that he was completely scrubbed away while others seem to be able to find him without any issue whatsoever.
Given that his Twitter account is West's primary form of social media outreach, the in-then-out again reception has thrown many of his biggest fans into a tizzy of anguish and wild speculation.

Somewhat notorious for his Twitter rants, West made some of the biggest waves in Twitter history earlier this year in a feud with Wiz Khalifa. West attacked Wiz Khalifa on the social media platform after the later called him out for changing the name his then-unreleased album, The Life of Pablo, from So Help Me God to Waves. Wiz thought that he took the title from Max B and said as much, which elicited a massive tweet-storm from Ye in response. More recently, he used the platform to try and work out a peace agreement between Tidal and Apple, telling the latter to "Give Jay his check for Tidal now and stop trying to act like you Steve."
We'll update this story as soon as it becomes more clear what might be going on.
UPDATED, 11:56 p.m. ET: Twitter provided the following statement to THE FADER about the issue. They clarified that it was not associated with "any specific Twitter account and is now resolved." They also stated some people "may have briefly been unable to access certain Twitter accounts." Unfortunately, 'Ye's must have been one of them.
