Kanye West's video for "Famous," which featured a dozen of the most famous (and infamous) people on Earth, or replicas thereof, naked in bed together, caused a lot of controversy when it was released earlier this summer. But on Friday night, the video came to life in a secret art exhibition in Los Angeles.

The public at large first became aware of the exhibition when Kim Kardashian tweeted that she was on her way there.

As pictures started to leak out, it became clear that the exhibition was a life-sized recreation of the "Famous" video, which was itself a nod to Vincent Desiderio's painting entitled "Sleep." The "people" were all replicas, but they appeared to be breathing.

West was not at the exhibition in person, but appeared via video chat.
