UPDATED 1:15 p.m. ET: Despite RetcH's recent tweets, he is not a new member of TDE. Label co-president, Dave Free, addressed the rumor on Twitter telling Doe Burger, a close associate of Ab-Soul as A&R and management, to "stop letting people where the TDE chain homie. 2nd time these false stories hit the net." He then clarified the label's lineup as "Kendrick Lamar - Jay Rock - Ab-Soul ScHoolboy Q - Isaiah Rashad - SZA Lance Skiiiwalker - John Doe #TDE."

See original story below.

Is RetcH the newest member of the Top Dawg Entertainment family? According to the New Jersey native, he is.

"JUS SIGNED TO @TOPDAWGENT #1UP #FASTMONEY," he tweeted along with a picture of him sporting a diamond-encrusted TDE chain. Another picture showed him posted up next to a Kendrick Lamar plaque while still wearing the chain and smoking a blunt.

TDE is the notable home of hip-hop greats like Kendrick Lamar, Jay Rock, ScHoolboy Q, Ab-Soul, and SZA, and has proven to be a unparalleled force for developing aspiring talent. Back in 2014, RetcH and Ab-Soul did link up for a freestyle on Showoff Radio with Statik Selektah.

Of course, this isn't the first time a rapper has claimed an affiliation with TDE. Earlier this summer, Chicago rapper Kembe X tweeted "TDE" along with a photo of him sporting a diamond chain similar to the one RetcH is wearing in his pictures. Speculation mounted that he was the label's newest signing until label founder, Anthony "Top Dawg" Tiffith, jumped on Twitter to put the rumor to bed. "When I signed something new I will let y'all know... Kembe X is a friend of the family."

This looks like it could just be RetcH trolling us, and TDE has remained silent on the topic for now. Instead, the label has been promoting their #TDEFREELUNCH event with Isaiah Rashad going down at an undisclosed location in Los Angeles today.

Complex has reached out to a rep for TDE and RetcH and will update when available.
