Britney Spears follows up the release of her G-Eazy-assisted banger by announcing her new album, Glory, and sharing another album cut with "Private Show." Fans first got a taste of the track when a clip debuted in the commercial for her new perfume of the same name, but the full track proves to be even better as Spears returns to her seductive roots, singing about getting down on a pole and twerking behind the curtains over a doo wop-inspired backbeat produced by Young Fyre who has worked with T-Pain in the past.
"#Glory. My new album & the beginning of a new era," Spears tweeted along with the album's cover. It's definitely an appropriate album name for the living pop icon and will mark the singer's first album since 2013's Britney Jean. Glory is set as an Apple Music exclusive, which marks another huge win for the tech giant and follows the company's album deals to Drake's Views, Adele's 25, and the rumored exclusive to Frank Ocean's upcoming Boys Don't Cry.
Spears turned to rapper G-Eazy for their insanely catchy collaboration "Make Me," but we are going to have to wait to see what other stars she chose to grab for the album since the official tracklist is being kept under wraps on Apple Music for now.
"[It's] a little melodic, a little more not so poppy. It's kind of chill. Very chill," Spears told E! News when discussing the new album before dubbing it "best thing I've done in a long time."
