Undecided on the next release to go with, this week, Bonkaz decided to go for the double drop, releasing two new tracks: "Alive", featuring frequent collaborator Renz, and "Roadside (Gyal Dem Love Me)". Further displaying his penchant for versatile sounds, both tracks carry different flavours. "Alive" is a dancehall/pop hybrid that switches into a rowdy drum and bass break section, while "Roadside" features confident and boastful rhymes over a pounding bassline and is perhaps more traditional Bonkz. Check out both cuts below from one of the UK's premier rappers—one that seemingly refuses to be placed inside of a box.
