As if 2 Chainz hasn't already blessed us with enough new material recently, he announced on Twitter Thursday night that he is working on a cartoon miniseries to accompany his recent mixtape Daniel Son; Necklace Don. Although he was light on the details, he revealed that he's been hard at work on the series, and that he hoped to debut it at the beginning of next week.

Been working on this Daniel Son Necklace Don cartoon mini series... Hopefully I can drop it top of next week ...stay tuned

Considering the mixtape's cover features a cartoon version of 2 Chainz, it seems logical that this character may be the star of the series. We can only hope that 2 Chainz will voice the main character, and that he brings some of his famous friends along for the ride.

The rapper formerly known as Tity Boi has been going all-out to promote his new mixtape Daniel Son; Necklace Don, including dropping a full merch line to accompany the release. This includes shirts with the cartoon character on them as well as designer bandanas and other goodies. You can check it all out at his Trapavelli store.

Complex caught up with 2 Chainz earlier this week to discuss the mixtape's Karate Kid inspirations. He talked about the similarities between karate and hip-hop, the motivation that he gets from inspiring other people, and how he linked up with Drake for their new track "Big Amount."

Be sure to keep your eyes open for more information about this upcoming cartoon series, and check out the Daniel Son; Necklace Don mixtape here.
