Ted Park has steadily been making a name for himself as an act to watch out of Wisconsin, and with his new single “I Know” he showcases his special blend of infectious rap vocals and charisma.
The record is centered around Ted’s affection for a lady friend, and he croons about showing her a good time with a little Henny on deck to spice up the experience. Producer Mantra lays down the perfect backdrop for the performance, which transitions from pop synth to Jersey club on a dime.
“I Know” comes at time in Ted’s early career where he’s had to deal with some personal hardship. "I recently had to fly out to Korea where my mom was hospitalized and was having difficulties with her health," he told Complex. "This had me in a real dark mood." Back in May, Ted shared a heartfelt message to his mom, which you can read below:
Instead of letting it affect his creative output, Ted took this dark moment in his life and turned it into a positive through his latest single. "With the summer being here and trying to get myself to a happy place I sought out to create a fun record not only to change my mood but for my fans to have something to party with," he added.
