Rich the Kid is celebrating the Fourth of July the proper way: by releasing a fresh 11-track mixtape featuring plenty of top-shelf collaborations. Following his Trap Talk tape in April, Rich is back with Rich Forever 2, boasting production from Murda, Chris Fresh, Kswisha, Zaytoven, and more.
Aquatic poet Lil Yachty and existential voice of reason Jaden Smith drop in for the tape's most memorable features, with Jaden practically floating over some Lab Cook production on "Like This." Yachty, meanwhile, brings the boat feels to "That Way" with some help from Rich Forever Music signee Famous Dex, who appears on seven of the tape's 11 tracks.
"I'm a boss mainly before anything and I'm a businessman," Rich toldHipHopDX last month. "So I've just been busy making a lot of music together." In addition to Rich Forever 2, Rich has also spent the past few months promoting the video for "Fresh Off the Boat" and teasing a forthcoming collab with none other than Justin Bieber.
Not one to simply hit us with several mixtapes and visuals, Rich the Kid is also celebrating the release of the "How Else" video. The track, which originally appeared on his Whip It collab tape with Makonne last year, got the summer anthem makeover in June thanks to the weather-appropriate cinema that now accompanies the Steve Aoki-assisted banger:
