Wale is back with Summer on Sunset, which is his latest body of work that spans 17 tracks and includes appearances from Ty Dolla $ign, Joe Moses, Cam'ron, Tha Dogg Pound, Jazz Cartier, Eric Bellinger, and more. It also includes a spot from veteran WWE commentator Jim Ross. Fans of the D.C. rapper got an early preview of the mixtape on DJ Khaled's We the Best Radio show Friday evening.

The trailer for Summer on Sunset featured comedian Jerry Seinfeld, who collaborated with Wale on his most recent release, The Album About Nothing. The two have also in the past teamed up for some special memories with Complex.

"Loved working with you," Seinfeld said to Wale in the mixtape's trailer. "I heard you’re moving out to L.A. to clear your head. Oh, my God. There’s very little clear head out there. L.A.’s fun. A lot of people out there work hard, but the people that aren’t working are partying even harder so stay cool and be yourself. Don’t ever change."

Wale has been building anticipation for SOS through several tracks released online. Back in May, he shared a new single called “My PYT” that featured vocals by Sam Sneak. This was initially previewed back in December during a listening session at Atlantic Records that he put on Snapchat, where he also shared snippets of collaborations with Rick Ross, Scarface, Yo Gotti, and Reekado Banks.

Along with Summer on Sunset, Wale recently released  “Her Wave,”“Reminisce,” and “Back to the Sun." Wale has stated S.H.I.N.E. (Still Here Ignoring Negative Energy) is the title of his fifth studio album and is set to drop sometime this summer. If everything goes according to plan, Wale is sticking to his schedule of dropping two projects in 2016.

On top of that, Wale is executive producing MMG’s Self Made Vol. 4, and we got the first taste of their compilation with “Make It Work” featuring Rick Ross and Meek Mill. It's safe to say MMG is staging a big takeover this summer.
