DJ Khaled is returning to the essence of We the Best Radio with a special guest and exclusive listen of a new project. Tonight, Khaled is hosting Wale, who will debut his Summer on Sunset mixtape.
In the past, Khaled has had the honor of hosting several first listens. Khaled was part of Future and French Montana’s rollouts before they premiered EVOL and Wave Gods on his show. He's also interviewed legendary hip-hop icons such as Puff Daddy and Nas.
Khaled just wrapped up opening for the North American dates on Beyoncé’s “Formation” tour. After the last stop in Detroit, Mich., Khaled wrote a heartfelt thank you letter to the iconic singer for allowing him to go tour with her.
“They told me I would never tour. Well I just finished touring with the biggest artist walking the planet,” Khaled wrote. “I want to thank Beyoncé for putting me on stage in front of a stadium full of loyal fans ... Dreams come true. Momma I made it!!! Fan luv we did it.”
