West Midlands duo TC4 are carving out a reputation for finding grime bangers in unusual places. We've already gone nuts for their "Baker Street" flip (which Snowy then vocalled perfectly) and a quick scan of their SoundCloud shows that while they might not have the biggest back catalogue, they've created more than their fair share of immediately recognisable grime riddims; "LaLaLa (VIP)", for example, has been laced by everyone from Invasion Alert to OGz, Boy Better Know to Tempa T. Given the inspired sample choice (very possibly the first meeting between grime and marimba) and their trademark choppy editing style, you can definitely expect to hear this in freestyles and cyphers for a long time to come.
Premiere: TC4 Return With Another Unusual But Inspired Sample Choice With "Marimba Riddim"
