Earlier this month, Kraak & Smaak dropped their fifth studio album, Juicy Fruit, via Jalapeño Records. Filled to bursting with their immediately recognisable takes on house, funk and disco, that's as rich in multi-layered textures as anything the trio have put out in the past. As with the rest of Kraak & Smaak's albums, fans will doubtless find plenty of new favourites on Juicy Fruit, including the luxurious "So Clear". Drafting in Boogie Angst's Meeka Kates for vocals, "So Clear" brings a confident but low-slung kind of cool to the indie house sound that's capped off with an instantly infectious hook. A mellow but danceable mid-tempo number that should have find no difficulty in getting your feet moving.
