Kid Cudi has been on a hot streak with his recent music releases, winning over fans with his songs "Goodbye," "All In," and "The Frequency." Now, ahead of the upcoming release of his new album Passion, Pain, & Demon Slayin, Cudi took to Twitter to reveal that he has new music in the works with none other than Pharrell. "Got some magic from Pharrell last nite," he wrote. "New collabs, new energy, new frequency."

He also revealed that the album's release date would be coming in the next few weeks, promising that new music would be coming "very very soon."

His most recent releases have been seen as a return-to-form of sorts for Cudi. His last album, 2015's experimental grunge rock project Speedin' Bullet 2 Heaven, proved to be fairly polarizing to his fanbase. It only ended up moving around 14,000 units in its first week, a career low. On the other hand, it received high praises from several major musicians, including André 3000 and Erykah Badu.

Not a ton is known about the album so far, although Cudi promised it would be coming sometime this summer. He also revealed that Travi$ Scott would be featured on it. Hopefully, we'll see it out soon.
