Digital Dreams is a music festival turned up to 11. Every year since 2012, this massive electronic extravaganza transforms The Flats at Ontario Place in Toronto into a multi-coloured, lazer-lit, bass-booming party from the future. This year, from July 2nd-3rd, some of the world’s biggest names in EDM will make this weekend one to remember. Progressive trance outfit Above & Beyond, Dutch legend Armin Van Buuren, and two thirds of Swedish House Mafia, Axwell & Ingrosso will headline the main stage, but there’s more to discover at Digital Dreams 2016.

Here are five acts you need to see at Digital Dreams 2016.

Digital Dreams is Saturday July 2nd and Sunday July 3rd in Toronto at The Flats at Ontario Place. Grab your wristbands here

Tiga

Montreal-born DJ/producer Tiga is a pillar of the Canadian dance music scene, having founded Turbo Records in 1998 and winning a JUNO for Dance Recording Of The Year for his 2007 album Sexor. He walks a fine line between pop music and electro, making for a set that’s equal parts sophisticated and fun.

Ookay

Los Angeles producer and vocalist Ookay has been keeping high profile company lately, joining the likes of Marshmello and Skrillex for back to back sets. And with good reason—”Thief” just might be the song of the summer. Catch Ookay at Digital Dreams, so you can say you saw him before he became a household name.

Seven Lions

Formerly a bassist and guitarist in several metal and punk bands, Seven Lions credits his entry into electronic music to not being able to wait around for his band mates. Now, he flies solo, delivering nuanced and highly musical sets of trance, drum and bass, glitch, and electro hip-hop.
