Drafting in no fewer than 11 of the UK's finest, Darkness' transformation of the "Eski Thug" instrumental turned the banger into an entirely new beast. While the original drew on grime's formative years for its sound, the new vocalled version casts an eye on the future with an exhaustive list of grime's newest players. Dishing out blistering bars across the beat are AJ Tracey, PK, Saint P, Lyrical Strally, Big Zuu, Darkos, Nico Lindsay, Elf Kid, Hilts and Ghstly, with a pixelated Kwam on the hook. It's a staggering, unprecedented role-call of grime's new generation, but a welcome one. Normally when we say we want to hear a beat get vocalled, we're thinking one or two MCs. Darkness, as he's wont to do, went above and beyond this time.
