The Weeknd and Nas took the stage at the Met Gala, the fashion world's prom, in New York City Monday night to perform a new version of "Tell Your Friends."

Shortly after the 26-year-old crooner began performing his standout Beauty Behind the Madness track, surprise guest Nas joined him to spit a new verse. Earlier in the evening, The Weeknd also performed his other big hit, "The Hills." His model girlfriend, Bella Hadid, was in the crowd to cheer him on.

"Tell Your Friends" was originally recorded by Kanye West alongside Mike Dean and Che Pope for his own use, but West ended up giving the record to The Weeknd for his second studio album instead. 'Ye later dropped his own version of the song titled "When I See It," though it's clear sharing with The Weeknd was the right move as "Tell Your Friends" ending up climbing the Billboard Hot 100 chart upon its release.

Also at the Met Gala, West tried to show up his wife, Kim Kardashian, by sporting some crazy color contacts. Meanwhile, recent Complex cover star Zayn Malik rocked metal sleeves with his suit to the event. Check out the rest of our Met Gala highlights, here, and watch the whole thing go down, above.
