Electronic soul duo Alpines step back into the limelight, signalling a move towards a more experimental sound, on new single "Completely", which is all about "embracing the truth of a situation and letting yourself be completely vulnerable." This song marks the first release since Alpines' 2014 album, Oasis, their critically-acclaimed debut, and wonderfully showcases the delicate tones of vocalist Catherine Pockson. With the carefully-shot video positioning Pockson alone across a desolate landscape, it demonstrates the emotionally exposed lyrics and Bob Matthews' restrained production of the track.
