Rising singer Marc E. Bassy just debuted his new single, "You and Me," which includes a feature appearance from G-Eazy. On the soothing track, Bassy and G-Eazy set fans up for summer with vibes that are perfect for a relaxing day on the beach with your significant other. Bassy's powerful vocals help drive home the sensual lyrics before G-Eazy comes onto the song with a memorable verse that matches perfectly over the funky production.

For Bassy, "You and Me" is the latest single from his upcoming project, Groovy People, which will be released later this year. "I would like to sing the songs on Groovy People to the world," Bassy explained to Complex. "I would also like to write as much as possible, maybe see some sights. I plan on eating fine foods and smoking fine smoke." The connection between Bassy and G-Eazy runs deep, and as he told us, a lot of it goes back to both coming from the Bay Area. "G-Eazy and I have developed a good chemistry working together on his album and touring. He really puts on for the Bay Area so having him on my first official single really kept it right," Bassy said.

So while Bassy's fans eagerly wait for Groovy People, they need to know that it's really just the start for him as both a singer and writer. "I want to continue in the tradition of the great song writers. I want to bring layers and thought to my songs; create a truthful experience for listeners. And of course I try and make everything sexy," he said.

You can listen to the debut of "You and Me" above.
