Erykah Badu promised fans new music and came through today with an official remix of PARTYNEXTDOOR's "Come and See Me." She captioned the song on SoundCloud, "IM IN LOVE / FOR THE CLASS OF 2016" and later announced the track to her Twitter followers by saying,"THIS 1 IS 4 THE CLASS OF 2016... y'all ready?" It's no wonder Badu is in love with the track. The song, labeled as a "duet remix," absorbs all the smoothness of PARTYNEXTDOOR and Drake's original while revamping it with some tripped out production that heightens the emotions in all the sweet spots.

Badu has been steadily sharing new music with her fans over the last few months. Most recently, she shared a remix of Wintertime's "Thru It All," along with her own take on Kanye West's "Real Friends" that she dubbed "Trill Friends."

Fortunately, this isn't the end of new music from Badu. She has already confirmed she is dropping a new mixtape, THIS $h!t TOO EASY, as the follow-up to 2015's But You Caint Use My Phone. She also revealed she's been cooking up something with D.R.A.M. that could end up on his upcoming mixtape. "I love this," she told The New Yorker at the time about the track. "[D.R.A.M.] has my heart."

If that's not enough Badu for you, you can also check out the footage that recently surfaced of a surprise performance she did a couple of years ago. Back in 2014, Badu stopped by a high school in Newark, N.J. and surprised a cafeteria full of students by singing "On and On" as she climbed on lunch tables and ate their fries. It's a pretty incredible reminder of just how special Badu is. Stream "Come and See Badu" below.
