Outkast rapper Big Boi saw the wrath of Twitter today after he posted a meme about modern-day motherhood that many took offense to. The meme shows Florida Evans, the fictional character played by Esther Rolle in the 70s TV show Good Times, juxtaposed against a scantily clad woman. Under Evans it says "Mothers in the 70s," while under the second woman it says "Mothers now." Underneath, it reads "And we act like we don't know what's wrong with these kids."

Many fans took issue with the message of the meme, and wasted no time in calling him out for what they saw as hypocrisy and outdated ideas of motherhood.

Did you think Big Boi's tweet went too far? Or was it just a harmless commentary? Let us know your thoughts in the comments below.
