Joey Bada$$ delivered a solid set this past weekend at Coachella, but one song in particular stood out. During his performance, he premiered a brand new track called "Devastated," and now footage of it has finally shown up online. The song sounds like it has the potential to be huge, especially judging by the crowd's reaction. "I used to feel so devastated/At times I thought we'd never make it/Now we on our way to greatness/And all it ever took was patience," he sings on the chorus.
There's no official date for when Joey might put out a follow up to his 2015 debut album B4.DA.$$, but there have been rumblings that it could be on it's way soon. “I may just drop an album this summer. I may drop another in December,” he told DJ Enuff on Shade 45. He also dropped the single "Ready" back in February, as well as a Biggie-honoring track called "Brooklyn's Own" in March. Hopefully, his performance of "Devastated" is an indication that more new music is incoming.
