In the latest episode of Beats 1's OTHERtone, hosts Scott Vener and Pharrell Williams recruited some very big names. Tyler, the Creator, Justin Timberlake, and Chad Hugo stopped by to discuss a wide range of interesting topics. Amongs the areas that were touched on in the conversation were the production history of the Neptunes, the creation of Timberlake's album Justified, and naturally the impact and legacy of A Tribe Called Quest's own Phife Dawg who recently passed from complications with diabetes. There's also a special mix of Neptunes music that will be played on the show as well as some new tracks.
This actually isn't the first time Tyler has stopped by the OTHERtone studio. If you remember, he made an incredible appearance on the show back in 2015 where he was interviewed by Pharrell on his experience in the music industry and meeting his idols André 3000, Denzel Washington, and Hans Zimmer at Coachella. According to Vener on Instagram, the crew was definitely having fun. Listen in on the show here.
