Makonnen is celebrating turning 27 today with a brand new video for "Solo," which was featured on his Drink More Water 6 project. Directed by Max, the visual features a cowboy hat-wearing, shirtless Makonnen hitting the ranch for some horse riding with a select few female companions and lets loose in a barn. Last month, Makonnen debuted the track with Zane Lowe on Beats 1 telling the radio host that the song is about "getting it out there and doing it by yourself."
The video follows his earlier video for the mixtape's opening track, "Back Again," which was also directed by Max. This project was actually the first of Makonnen's to get a proper commercial release, which is probably why he has so many videos coming through.
