Jon Bellion comes through today with the first taste of his forthcoming debut album. "Guillotine" opens up with a glimmer of hope as Jon's vocals quickly lead us into a genre-maze where alternative R&B melts into hip hop grooves, bellowing into a explosively catchy chorus prickled with intriguing production notes. It's hard to distinguish exactly what that one, almost child-like voice, is but it works incredibly well in drawing us into the track. The result is nothing short of a transfixing hook that easily lodges itself into your ears and offers a promising note for what's to come on his full length out this summer.
