It Looks Like Drake's New Album Is Just Called 'VIEWS'

Rather than 'Views From the 6.'

With Drake's new album set to drop later this week, there are still some questions on fans' minds. Notably, the title of the album. Of course, when Drake first announced the project all the way back in 2014 it was Views From the 6, but over time it seems the title has since changed to just VIEWS. Neither OVO or Drake made an official announcement about the change, but in the final stages of the album rollout this month, the team has exclusively referred to the project as just VIEWS and not Views From the 6.

This speculation really started with the official album trailer, which showed the project's release date and just the word VIEWS in the final clip. Since then, Drake and the OVO affiliated accounts have exclusively used only VIEWS for promo, which makes you think that there's been a change to the album title. The official album cover unfortunately gives no hints to the actual title as there are no words on it, but rather just Drake sitting on top of the CN Tower in Toronto. A source close to the situation indicated that the actual album title is called VIEWS, while the street title is Views From the 6, though nothing is confirmed.

At this point, we probably won't know for sure until the album drops on Friday, but it certainly seems that Drake's new album is now called just VIEWS and not Views From the 6. We've reached out to a rep from OVO for comment and will update this story as more details come out.
