It looks like there's a new project from Chris Brown incoming. Tonight, he shared the song "Shut Down," which features his newly formed crew OHB (Original Hood Bosses). Judging by his use of the #OHBMixtape in an accompanying tweet, it looks like the group has a full-length project on the way soon. He's teased the crew's work, and released a series of remixes to his Royalty single "Back to Sleep" recently, but this is our first look at what his new group might sound like.

Overall, it's not bad. Brown handles the hook and first verse, lacing them with Auto-Tune for a catchy sound. Eventually, he hands the reigns to some of the OHB artists, who spit verses of their own. It's not exactly a crazy departure in style for Brown, but it gives him enough of a switch up for us to be curious about its ability to reach beyond his core audience. That remains to be seen, but it looks like we won't have to wait for too long to hear more music from the OHB experiment.

In the meantime, you can stream Chris Brown's "Shut Down" f/ OHB below via SoundCloud.
