Fresh off the release of his new video for "Ms. Gladys," Cash Money's Birdman announced on Instagram tonight that he will be releasing a new album this June. The project, titled Ms. Gladys, will be the rapper's first solo album since 2009's Priceless. He has, however, released two mixtapes in addition to the Rich Gang projects in conjunction with Young Thug and Rich Homie Quan in recent years. Ms. Gladys is the name of his deceased mother, whom he honored in the video for the album's lead single.

It's been a tumultuous time for Birdman, who's been dealing with a massive lawsuit from Lil Wayne. At this point, it's hard to know what exactly to expect from his new music. However, with his Wayne feud seemingly simmering down and his ready access to a cadre of big-name guest stars, it's certainly possible that Ms. Gladys could be something of a comeback moment for him. We'll have to wait until June to find out.

Later in the evening, he also revealed that a new Rich Gang album will be coming out in July. Although details are scant, given the current relationship between Thug and Quan, it's much more likely to be a sequel to the Young Money/Cash Money compilation album from 2013. That album was a modest success, featuring the single "Tapout" with Wayne, Birdman, Mack MaineNicki Minaj, and Future. You can check out his Instagram announcements below.
