Claudia De Châlon's Mix For Do Not Friday Venezia

Chicago native Claudia De Châlon earned her place in the city's rave scene through that tried-and-tested combination of raw talent and relentless hard work. Starting out as a promoter, Claudia quickly worked her way up to DJing at revered spots like Smartbar and Berlin. It shouldn't come as a surprise that she's on the up—just listen to this backbreaking blend of New York and Chicago house, kicked up to 11 with some punishing kick drums and enough bass to shatter your ribcage.

FTD's Mix For Boiler Room

FTD (From Them Depths) boss Charles Drakford takes the helm on this one. One problem (in his eyes): the label's modest output is wildly eclectic, so how to mix them together into something makes sense? Well, you ignore the differences and style it out, embracing the contrasts and juxtapositions. Though he describes the mix as "all over the shop", all we hear is a far-reaching voyage through ambient, hard techno, and a range of unheard madness his label has yet to unleash upon the world.

8ulentina's 'Bailewave' Mix For THUMP

A quick slip of a mix, 8ulentina's Bailewave mix combines their Turkish and Arab roots with more western club influences for a dizzying party soundtrack. Featuring Organ Tapes, a few of their own cuts and one from their partner in crime Foozool (with whom they run the Club Chai parties in Oakland, California), this one's a veritable force majeur, taking you on a whistlestop rave around the globe.

Poirier's Mix For Freunde Von Freunden

As with any Poirier mix, eclecticism is the name of the game. Naturally, his long-standing love of dancehall is represented, as is his passion for just about every shade of club music. Dubbel Dutch, Phon.o and Daniel Haaksman are all included, as are his very excellent collaborations with Face-T and MC Zulu ("Positive Up" and "Universal Peace" respectively). Sadly, what isn't included is one of his other Zulu collabs, "Go Ballistic", but that's just another reason to revisit No Ground Under.

Mr G's Mix For XLR8R

Alongside fellow producer Cisco Ferreira, under a number of different monikers—most notably KCC and The Advent—Mr. G quickly rose to prominence in the '90s, earning a well-deserved reputation an encyclopedia of reggae's long and storied history. If you need convincing, check out this 7"-only mix of classic reggae, funk and soul.

Hi5Ghost's Mix For Outlook Festival

Bandulu Records affiliate and the man behind "Kung Fu Kick", Bristol's Hi5Ghost has admirable grime credentials. The aforementioned club heater would go on to be featured on P Money's Originators EP and his own Paper Cranes imprint has so far dished out his Trends collaboration "Duppy Maker" and Lamont's "Shadows". If all this is anything to go by, Hi5Ghost is only going to get better. Take a listen to this and make sure you catch him at Outlook this summer.

Weval's Mix For The Ransom Note

Dutch duo Harm Coolen & Merijn Scholte Albers, aka Weval, met in 2010 and since then the pair's contrasting ideas (although the cause of the occasional conflict) have led to some inspired productions—many of which feature on their upcoming album on Kompakt (June 10). The mix, which features doses of synth pop, new wave, house, techno, and anything else with a good solid beat, is hopefully a taste of what's to come.

Killjoy's Mix For Fabriclive X Formula Records

2016 is shaping up pretty nicely for Killjoy. His D Double E collaboration, "Like This", has already got everyone trawling YouTube and his SoundCloud for more grimey bangers. Now, with a set coming up at Fabric this weekend alongside Bok Bok, Oneman and the Formula Records extended family, there's no better time to get fully acquainted with the human banger factory.
