With the music portion of SXSW about to get under way this week, Rae Sremmurd and their SremmLifeCrew just dropped their new mixtape, Trail Mix. The release of the project comes right at the perfect time, as the collective is set to put on their first ever SremmLifeCrew stage showcase at SXSW later on tonight. With 10 songs in total, the mixtape brings just the right amount of turn up that we've all come to expect from Rae Sremmurd over the past year.
While Slim Jxmmi and Swae Lee are featured heavily on the project, their crew members Bobo Swae, Riff 3x, and Impxt all see plenty of shine throughout. Though it's always good to hear new music from Rae Sremmurd in any capacity, this new project certainly drives up the hype for the duo's next album, SremmLife 2, which is expected to drop at some point this year.
