$ha’s Toronto roots run deep. Not only is the 27-year-old rapper is cousins with Drake’s day one and personal security Chubbs, he’s also a core member of P. Reign’s Reps Up family and Roy Wood$UTU crew. It should be no surprise, then, that his latest single, “Don’t Worry,” got some shine on a recent episode of OVO Sound Radio. Don’t, however, chalk up $ha’s rising profile to nepotism—the man has got bars.

Today, Complex has the exclusive look at a brand new video for “No Grills, No Fronts (The Warm Up),” a amped-up track that sees $ha channelling Young Thug-esque energy levels over an instrumental by Grammy-nominated producer Daniel Worthy. “I made this song in 20 minutes and it happened very organically,” $ha told Complex via email. “Daniel Worthy sent me a package of beats, and this was like the second one I listened to, and I just did this off the top and recorded myself.”

Watch the video for “No Grills, No Fronts (The Warm Up)” above. If you’re in Toronto, you can catch $ha opening for Skepta on May 6th at the Danforth Music Hall. Stay tuned for $ha’s album 333, which should be dropping soon.
