Prince is about as private an individual as your liable to find in the music world these days, so it was pretty shocking to learn that a number of the singer's belongings are headed to the auction block. Organized by Nate D. Sanders auctions, the items have been taken from the personal collection of Prince's ex-wife Mayte Garcia and former manager Owen Husney.

The range of items up for sale is impressively widespread and includes a 1959 Gibson L Series acoustic guitar with an opening price of $60,000, a 1978 demo tape that Prince recorded with former Revolution guitarist Dez Dickerson, and a whopping 2.2-karat diamond ring that he gave to then-girlfriend Garcia. Amongst other more interesting items in the collection includes a pair of rhinestone encrusted handcuffs, a number of love symbol emblazoned china that was used at Prince's wedding in 1996, and a Scorpio necklace that he wore when he met Prince Charles.
