After a brief stint on Planet Mu (that saw the release of their critically acclaimed Supermigration album) before switching to Sunday Best, Irish duo Solar Bears are preparing to release their first single on the label, "Wild Flowers", which is taken from the Advancement album due out March 18. Backing up the single is another album track, "Gravity Calling", and this Pye Corner Audio remix of the A-side. PCA's remix takes things from colourful techno into dark, '80s-tinged synth-pop territory. It's by no means doom and gloom, however, as PCA add some even more melodious synths and a sturdy drum pattern to guide the track. Let's just hope the rest of the album follows suit.
